Before beginning private practice, Mackenzie completed internships with the Office of the United States Attorney (Western District of Oklahoma) and with the Oklahoma Attorney General. From this experience, Mackenize gained an insider's understanding of the workings of Oklahoma's state agencies and their interaction with the federal government. Significant matters for Mackenzie have involved administrative enforcement proceedings, professional liability claims, labor and employment defense and personal injury cases.
