Jo Anne Deaton is a partner in Rhodes Hieronymus. She concentrates her practice in the areas of employment law, products liability, and general insurance matters.

In addition to her practice at the firm, she is an Adjunct Settlement Judge for Tulsa County District Court and for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma, where she has previously served on its Rules Committee. She also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oklahoma Attorneys Mutual Insurance Company, founded by the Oklahoma Bar Association. She is a Master in the American Inns of Court and is a member of the Tulsa County, Oklahoma, and American Bar Associations.

Prior to joining Rhodes Hieronymus, Jo Anne served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable James O. Ellison of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma. She co-authored "Products Liability Defenses: A State-by-State Compendium" (with her partner, Bert Jones) for Defense Research Institute in 1992 and 1997.

Jo Anne earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oklahoma, where she was a National Merit Scholar, in 1978. She obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa in 1981, where she was elected to the Order of the Barristers.
