Multiple plaintiffs sued an employer after it chose not to hire them following a buy-out of their former employer’s business. Their claims included violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Oklahoma Anti-Discrimination Act, as well as breach of contract. Rhodes Hieronymus filed a motion for summary judgment on all of plaintiffs’ claims, as well as a motion to strike plaintiffs’ untimely response. The Court granted the motion to strike plaintiffs’ response, and awarded our client the fees and costs incurred in preparing the motion. Ultimately, the motion for summary judgment was granted on all grounds and as to all six plaintiffs, preventing a lengthy and costly trial.
